Embed YouTube Videos with Workspace Builder Prompts
To add a YouTube video, paste the YouTube link directly into the prompt and tell CloudMySite where the video should appear.
There is no separate YouTube upload button in the workspace. The builder uses your written request and the public YouTube URL to create the video section.

Video Link Tips
- Use a public YouTube link.
- Standard
youtube.com/watchandyoutu.belinks are easiest. - Private videos usually will not display for visitors.
- If a video is unlisted, test the final page to confirm it loads.
- Avoid uploading a video file as an image attachment. Use the YouTube URL in the prompt instead.
Preview and Publish Checks
After CloudMySite adds the video:
- Open Preview.
- Confirm the video appears in the right section.
- Test desktop and mobile layout if the device mode button is available.
- Select Refresh if the preview looks stale.
- Publish when the page looks correct.
Some third-party video behavior may be easier to test after publishing, especially if the preview browser blocks an external action.
