Workspace Builder Overview

The Workspace Builder is where your app or website is created. You describe what you want in plain language, send the prompt, and CloudMySite builds the project in the workspace.

You do not need to know code to use it. The workspace is designed around two main areas:

  • Prompt area: where you type requests, add images, use Google Drive, attach existing assets, or generate images.
  • Workbench area: where you preview the project, open Admin settings, publish, review progress, and use advanced file controls when needed.

When You Use the Workspace Builder

Use the Workspace Builder when you want to:

  • create a new app or website from a written idea
  • improve an existing app with follow-up prompts
  • attach a logo, product image, screenshot, or design reference
  • ask CloudMySite to add a YouTube video section
  • preview the app while it is being built
  • open Admin to set up forms, login, Stripe, domains, analytics, database, and other settings
  • download project files from Advanced mode
  • publish the finished project

Simple Creation Flow

  1. Type what you want in the prompt box.
  2. Add an image or file reference if it helps explain the request.
  3. Select the send button.
  4. Watch the builder progress in the workspace.
  5. Review the result in Preview.
  6. Send follow-up prompts for changes.
  7. Open Admin for business settings such as forms, authentication, payments, and domains.
  8. Select Publish when the app or website is ready.

What to Include in Your First Prompt

A strong first prompt usually includes:

  • the type of project, such as business website, booking app, dashboard, store, portal, game, or landing page
  • the audience or customer
  • the pages or screens you want
  • the main actions users should be able to take
  • the style, colors, tone, or brand feeling
  • any content you already know, such as services, pricing, locations, or contact details
  • any attached image you want the builder to use

Example:

Create a modern website for a local tutoring center.
Include a homepage, programs page, pricing section, testimonials, and contact form.
Use a friendly academic style with navy, yellow, and white.
Make the homepage show parents that tutoring is personalized and easy to start.

Best Practices

  • Start with the outcome you want, not the technical method.
  • Tell CloudMySite where attached images should appear.
  • Ask for one focused change at a time after the first build.
  • Use Preview after each major change.
  • Use Admin for business settings instead of asking the prompt box to store private keys or passwords.
  • Use Advanced only when you need files, search, locks, terminal, or downloads.
