Manage Apps in My Workspace

My Workspace keeps track of the apps you create with Genie. You can reopen an app, continue editing, inspect details, view logs, duplicate it, or delete it.

There are two app history views:

  • Recent apps on the Apps page, for quick access to the latest projects.
  • All Apps, for the full app list with search and sorting.

Recent Apps

The Recent apps area appears below the launch pad. It shows your latest CloudMySite app projects.

Each app card may show:

  • app title
  • last updated time
  • status label
  • workspace label
  • short summary
  • quick action buttons

Use Recent apps when you know the app you need is one of your latest projects.

All Apps

Open All Apps from the workspace sidebar when you want the full app library.

The All Apps page includes:

  • Total apps count
  • Running count
  • Drafts count
  • search box
  • sort menu
  • grouped app cards
  • Dashboard button to return to the main Apps page
  • New app button to start another build

Search and Sort Apps

Use search when you remember part of the app name, prompt, framework, stack, or summary.

You can sort by:

  • Newest first
  • Oldest first
  • Name

When sorting by name, apps appear in one All Apps group. When sorting by date, apps are grouped by time so recent work is easier to scan.

App Statuses

Common app statuses include:

  • Draft: the app is saved but not live.
  • Running: the app has an active live deployment.
  • Published: the app or related project has been published.
  • Processing: CloudMySite is still preparing or updating the project.
  • Failed: a build or deployment step needs attention.

If an app is not live yet, opening the live app may send you back to the workspace editor instead.

App Card Actions

Depending on the app, each card can include quick buttons for:

  • Open editor: return to the builder workspace.
  • View logs: open event logs for troubleshooting or review.
  • Duplicate app: create a separate draft copy.
  • Delete app: remove the saved app history and remote data.

Selecting the card itself opens the app detail view.

App Details

The app detail view gives you a fuller look at one app before you take action.

It can include:

  • Original prompt: the request used to create the app.
  • Summary: a short description of the app.
  • Created and Updated dates.
  • Workspace label.
  • Project name.
  • Live URL, if the app has been published or deployed.
  • Runtime or framework label.
  • Capabilities, such as whether a database or authentication was detected.

Quick Actions in App Details

From the detail view, you can:

  • Open editor to continue building.
  • Open live app if a live URL exists.
  • View logs to inspect app activity or troubleshooting information.
  • Duplicate to create a separate draft copy.
  • Delete to remove the app from your workspace history.

Duplicate is useful when you want a new version without changing the original. Live deployment settings, domains, and production data are not copied into the new draft.

Delete Carefully

Deleting an app removes its saved history and remote data. Use delete only when you no longer need the project.

Before deleting, consider whether you may need:

  • the original prompt
  • the app design
  • the live URL
  • a duplicate for future edits
  • records from a connected database or service

If you are not sure, duplicate the app first and delete only after confirming you no longer need it.
