Fix Common CloudMySite Video Generation Issues

Most Video Studio issues can be fixed by checking the prompt, sign-in status, settings, credits, or source image. Use this page when something does not work as expected.

I Was Asked to Sign In

Video generation requires a signed-in CloudMySite account.

What to do:

  1. Write your prompt.
  2. Select Generate Video.
  3. If asked, sign in or create an account.
  4. Return to Video Studio.

For Text to Video, CloudMySite saves your prompt and settings during sign-in so generation can continue without retyping the prompt.

For Image to Video, you may need to upload the image again after sign-in because browsers do not keep local file uploads through a login redirect.

The Generate Video Button Is Disabled

Check these items:

  • The prompt box is not empty.
  • Image to Video has an uploaded image.
  • A previous video is not still starting.
  • Your browser is not blocking the page.

If everything looks correct, refresh the page and try again.

My Video Failed

Try these steps:

  1. Shorten the prompt.
  2. Focus on one scene.
  3. Use 5 seconds.
  4. Use Standard quality.
  5. Lower the motion setting.
  6. Remove conflicting instructions.
  7. Try again with Regenerate.

Example of a simpler prompt:

Create a short website hero video for a modern bakery.
Show fresh bread on a wooden counter with warm morning light.
Use slow camera movement and a cozy mood. Avoid text.

The Video Does Not Match My Prompt

Improve the prompt by adding:

  • the exact business type
  • the main subject
  • the desired mood
  • the intended placement
  • what should be avoided
  • motion direction

If the result is close, use Create Variation and add one specific improvement.

The Motion Is Too Strong

Try:

  • setting Motion to Low
  • asking for "very gentle movement"
  • asking for "slow camera push-in"
  • avoiding words like fast, energetic, dramatic, or action

The Video Is Too Still

Try:

  • setting Motion to Medium or High
  • asking for camera movement
  • asking for background motion
  • adding phrases such as "light sweep," "slow orbit," or "subtle product rotation"

My Image-to-Video Result Changed the Product

Use a clearer prompt:

Keep the product shape, label, logo, and colors stable.
Only add a slow camera push-in and soft lighting movement.
Do not redesign the product. Do not add text.

Also try Low motion for product images, labels, logos, or faces.

Character Swap Video Is Locked

Character Swap Video may require a paid plan or enough video credits. Open the Video Pricing or plan area in CloudMySite to review available options.

Generate Character Swap Is Disabled

Check that:

  • a Character Image is uploaded
  • a Reference Video is uploaded
  • neither upload shows a file error
  • your account has access to Character Swap Video
  • you have enough video credits for the estimate

My Character Image Upload Fails

Use JPG, JPEG, PNG, BMP, or WEBP. The image must be 5 MB or smaller, at least 200 pixels wide and tall, and no larger than 4096 pixels wide or tall.

If the image is accepted but the result is weak, use a clearer image with one main subject, good lighting, and fewer background distractions.

My Reference Video Upload Fails

Use MP4, AVI, or MOV. The video must be 200 MB or smaller, 2 to 30 seconds long, and at least 200 pixels wide and tall.

For better results, use a short reference video with one clear subject and simple motion.

Character Swap Media Could Not Be Reached

If CloudMySite says the uploaded character image or reference video could not be reached, re-upload both files and generate again. This usually means the temporary upload was no longer available to the video workflow.

If the issue continues after a fresh upload, refresh Video Studio, upload smaller files, and try again.

My Character Swap Result Looks Wrong

Try:

  • using a clearer Character Image
  • choosing a Reference Video with one person or subject
  • avoiding fast cuts or heavy camera motion
  • matching the character image angle to the reference video
  • using Professional quality for a final version

I Cannot Download the Video

Check that:

  • the video status is Completed
  • the video is visible in the preview panel
  • the Download MP4 button is active
  • your browser allows downloads from CloudMySite

If the button is still unavailable, open the video from Recent Generations and try downloading again.

My Video Looks Cropped

The aspect ratio may not match where you want to use the video.

Use:

  • 16:9 for wide website hero areas
  • 9:16 for vertical social videos
  • 1:1 for square cards or social posts

If you used Image to Video, choose a source image that is close to the same shape as the final video.

I Ran Out of Credits

Open the Video Pricing or plan area in CloudMySite. You may be able to upgrade your plan or add video credits.

To reduce credit use:

  • use 5-second videos
  • use Standard quality while testing
  • generate fewer variations
  • reuse completed videos
  • improve prompts before generating

Best Quick Fix Checklist

  1. Sign in.
  2. Use one clear prompt.
  3. Start with 5 seconds.
  4. Use Standard quality.
  5. Use Medium motion.
  6. Match the aspect ratio to the final placement.
  7. Ask for no text.
  8. Regenerate or create a variation only after reviewing the preview.
