Understand Video Credits, Plans, and Limits

CloudMySite uses dedicated video credits for video generation. Video credits are separate from other CloudMySite usage, so your video activity is easier to understand and manage.

For current pricing, plan names, and limits, always check the Video Pricing page inside your CloudMySite account.

What Affects Video Credit Use

Video credit use can change based on:

  • video length
  • quality
  • resolution
  • video type
  • current plan
  • available video credit balance

In general, longer and higher-quality videos use more credits.

Free Video Credits

CloudMySite may include free video credits so you can try video generation. A common first use is one short standard video at standard quality.

If a feature requires a paid plan or more credits, CloudMySite will show an upgrade or credit option before the video starts.

Standard and Advanced Video Options

CloudMySite may show different video options depending on your plan.

OptionBest For
Standard VideoWebsite hero clips, social posts, simple product motion, first drafts
Premium VideoHigher-detail brand clips, polished product videos, cinematic ads
Reference VideoKeeping a person, product, character, or style more consistent when available
Character Swap VideoCreating a new clip from a character image and reference video when your plan allows it
Video EditEditing existing videos with text instructions when available

Some advanced options may require a paid plan or may be released in stages.

Character Swap Video Credits

Character Swap Video credit use is based on the reference video length and selected character swap quality.

QualityCredit Planning Tip
StandardUse this for first tests, previews, and lower-cost drafts
ProfessionalUse this for final clips that need smoother, more polished output

Upload the reference video before reviewing the estimate, because CloudMySite uses the reference video duration to calculate character swap credit use.

Why Higher Quality Costs More

Higher-quality video creates a sharper, more detailed result. It usually uses more video credits because the final output is larger and more polished.

Use Standard while exploring. Move to High when:

  • the clip will be used on an important page
  • the result is already close to final
  • the video will be shown large on desktop
  • you need a more polished final version

How to Use Fewer Video Credits

  • Start with 5-second videos.
  • Use shorter reference videos for Character Swap Video.
  • Use Standard quality while testing prompts.
  • Generate one clear idea at a time.
  • Use low or medium motion for simple website backgrounds.
  • Reuse videos from Recent Generations.
  • Create variations from a good result instead of starting over.
  • Match the aspect ratio before generating.
  • Avoid generating several versions until the prompt is clear.

When to Buy More Video Credits

Consider adding video credits when you need to:

  • create videos for multiple pages
  • test several creative directions
  • make client or team options
  • create social videos regularly
  • use higher-quality or longer videos
  • produce videos for ads or campaigns

What Happens When a Video Fails

If a video fails, CloudMySite shows a failure message. Failed generations should not be treated the same as completed videos. If you are unsure about credit use after a failed attempt, review the Video Pricing or usage area in your account.

Planning a Video Session

Before a large video session:

  1. Check your video credit balance.
  2. Write several prompts in a notes document.
  3. Start with 5-second standard videos.
  4. Pick the best directions.
  5. Create variations only from promising results.
  6. Use higher quality for final versions.

This keeps creative work organized and helps avoid unnecessary credit use.
