Fix Common Image-to-Video Problems

Image to Video is simple, but every now and then a result can wander off like it has errands. This page helps you gently bring it back.

My Image Will Not Upload

Try this:

  1. Use a common image file, such as JPG, PNG, or WebP.
  2. Rename the file with simple letters and numbers.
  3. Avoid very large images for your first test.
  4. Try a clearer version of the image.
  5. Refresh the page and upload again.

If the image came from a design tool, export it again as a normal JPG or PNG.

The Video Changed My Product, Logo, or Label

This usually means the prompt did not clearly say what must stay the same.

Use lower motion and add a line like:

Keep the product shape, label, logo, colors, and packaging unchanged.

Also try:

  • use a clearer product image
  • avoid high motion
  • keep the product large in the frame
  • avoid asking for big transformations
  • do not ask for new text or new objects

The Face Looks Different

Faces need gentle movement. Use a clear portrait and ask for low motion.

Try this prompt line:

Keep the face natural and recognizable. Use very gentle motion only.

Avoid:

  • dramatic camera movement
  • strong expression changes
  • lots of new lighting effects
  • crowded backgrounds

The Video Is Too Wild

The prompt may be asking for too much action.

Replace words like:

  • dramatic
  • fast
  • explosive
  • highly dynamic
  • intense

With calmer words like:

  • gentle
  • subtle
  • slow
  • soft
  • polished
  • stable

Try:

Use low motion. Add a slow camera push-in and subtle light movement only.

The Video Is Too Boring

If the result barely moves, ask for one or two clear motion ideas.

Try:

Add a slow camera push-in, soft light sweep, and gentle background motion.

Do not ask for ten things at once. The video does not need a full gym routine.

The Image Looks Cropped

Cropping can happen when the video shape does not match the image shape.

Try this:

  • use a wide image for a wide video
  • use a vertical image for a vertical video
  • use a square image for a square video
  • keep important details away from the edges
  • mention what should stay visible

Helpful prompt line:

Keep the full product visible and centered in the frame.

Text in the Image Looks Weird

Small text can be difficult in moving video. If the text is important, keep motion low.

Try:

Keep the existing text sharp and unchanged. Use very low motion.

For website videos, it is often better to keep the video text-free and add readable text on the website itself.

The Video Added Words I Did Not Want

Add this line to your prompt:

Avoid adding any new text, captions, letters, or logos.

This is especially useful for hero videos, ads, and social clips where you plan to add text later.

The Result Does Not Match My Brand

Give the prompt simple brand direction.

Examples:

Use a clean, modern, premium style with blue and white brand colors.
Use a warm, friendly, local business style with soft natural light.
Use a bold, energetic social media style with bright colors and smooth motion.

Generation Failed

Try these quick fixes:

  1. Refresh the page.
  2. Upload the image again.
  3. Shorten the prompt.
  4. Start with a 5-second video.
  5. Use standard quality for the first test.
  6. Try a different image if the file may be unusual or very large.

If it still fails, try again later or contact support with what you were trying to create.

It Is Taking a While

AI video can take a little time. A short clip may still need a minute or two. It is doing a lot more than resizing a photo. It is imagining motion, lighting, timing, and frames. Basically, it is making a tiny movie while you wait.

Use Recent Generations to check completed videos if you leave and come back.

Best First Fix for Most Problems

Use this prompt:

Animate this image with low motion.
Keep the main subject stable, clear, and recognizable.
Add a slow camera push-in and soft light movement.
Avoid adding text, changing logos, changing faces, or changing product details.

It is not flashy, but it is a dependable starting point. Flashy can come later, after the first result behaves itself.
