Admin: Users and Settings
Use Admin > Users and Admin > Settings to manage who can work on the app and to review important app details.
Users
The Users section helps you manage people who can access the workspace.
You may see:
- current members
- pending invitations
- user roles
- role filters
- invitation controls
Common User Roles
Roles may include:
- Owner: full control of the workspace.
- Admin: can manage most app settings.
- Editor: can edit app content and pages.
- Viewer: can view but not make major changes.
Use the lowest role that gives the person what they need.
Invite a User
- Open Admin.
- Select Users.
- Enter the person's email address.
- Choose a role.
- Send the invitation.
The person may appear under pending invitations until they accept.
Change a Role
- Open Admin > Users.
- Find the user.
- Choose a new role.
- Save or confirm the change.
Review roles whenever a team member's responsibility changes.
Settings
The Settings section shows important app information.
You may see:
- app name
- app ID
- workspace ID
- status
- live URL
- preview URL
- repository
- favicon file
- delete app controls
App Name
The app name helps you identify the project in CloudMySite.
Use a clear name, especially if you have multiple apps.
Good examples:
- Bella Bakery Website
- Northside Dental Booking App
- Summit Coaching Portal
Live URL and Preview URL
The Live URL is the published app visitors can use.
The Preview URL is for testing while you are still building.
Use preview for internal checks and live URL for final customer testing.
Favicon
The favicon is the small icon shown in browser tabs.
In Settings, you may be able to:
- choose an uploaded image
- use a generated image
- upload a new favicon
- replace an existing favicon
Use a simple square icon, such as a logo mark or brand symbol.
Delete App
The delete area is usually shown as a danger section.
Only delete an app if you are sure you no longer need it.
Before deleting:
- confirm you have the correct app
- save any information you need elsewhere
- check whether the app is published
- confirm teammates no longer need access
Deleting can remove access to the app workspace.
Best Practices
- Review users before launch.
- Remove users who no longer need access.
- Keep app names clear.
- Use a branded favicon before publishing.
- Use preview links for internal review.
- Use the live URL for final testing.
- Be careful with delete actions.
Troubleshooting
A Teammate Cannot Access the App
Check whether they are invited, whether they accepted the invitation, and whether their role is correct.
I Do Not See a Live URL
The app may not be published yet. Publish first, then return to Settings.
The Favicon Did Not Update
Browsers sometimes cache favicons. Publish the app, refresh the page, and try a private browser window.
I Opened the Wrong App
Use the app name, app ID, live URL, and preview URL in Settings to confirm you are in the correct workspace.
