Admin: Analytics and Security

Use Admin's analytics and security sections to understand how your app is performing after it is published.

These sections help answer questions like:

  • How many people are visiting?
  • Which pages are being viewed?
  • Is the app loading quickly?
  • Are there security warnings?
  • Are there suspicious requests?
  • Is Google finding the site?

Analytics

Open Admin > Analytics to review website activity.

You may see sections such as:

  • Website Analytics
  • Performance Overview
  • Security Logs
  • Traffic Chart
  • Google Search

Available data depends on the app, domain, and hosting setup.

Website Analytics

Use website analytics to understand visitor activity.

Look for:

  • visitor counts
  • popular pages
  • recent traffic
  • data served
  • location or region summaries

Use this information to improve the app. For example, if a service page gets many visits but few form submissions, make the call to action clearer.

Performance Overview

Performance overview helps you understand how the app is loading.

Watch for:

  • slow pages
  • unusually high traffic
  • large files or images
  • changes after publishing a redesign

Fast pages usually create a better visitor experience.

Traffic Chart

Use the traffic chart to see activity over time.

This can help you notice:

  • launch spikes
  • campaign traffic
  • quiet periods
  • growth trends

Google Search information can help you understand whether your app is being discovered in search results.

You may review:

  • search-related visibility
  • indexing status
  • search performance signals

Search data may take time to appear after a new site is published.

Security Logs

Security logs can show suspicious or blocked traffic.

You do not need to review every log daily. Use this area when:

  • you suspect unusual activity
  • you see unexpected traffic
  • forms receive spam
  • login attempts look suspicious
  • support asks you to check security details

Security Audit

Open Admin > Security Audit to review security warnings for the app.

Security Audit may flag items such as:

  • unsafe app patterns
  • exposed keys
  • risky configuration
  • missing protections
  • areas Genie can help improve

If warnings appear, review them before launch.

Ask Genie to Help

If Security Audit shows warnings, you may have an option to ask Genie to fix or improve them.

After Genie makes changes:

  1. Review the app.
  2. Test important features.
  3. Run Security Audit again.
  4. Publish when ready.

Best Practices

  • Check analytics after major launches.
  • Review traffic after ad campaigns or email campaigns.
  • Run Security Audit before public launch.
  • Run Security Audit again after adding payments, login, forms, or custom scripts.
  • Test forms and checkout after security-related changes.

Troubleshooting

Analytics Shows No Data

The app may need to be published first, or there may not be enough traffic yet. Visit the live app and check again later.

Google Search Shows No Results

New sites can take time to appear in search tools. Make sure the app is published and the domain is working.

Security Audit Shows a Warning I Do Not Understand

Use the warning text as guidance, then ask Genie to explain or fix it. You can also contact support if the warning affects payments, login, or sensitive data.
